IARMA Environmental Radioactivity Proficiency Test
on the Determination of Gross Alpha/Beta in Water

IARMA Ltd will organize a proficiency test on the determination of Gross Alpha/Beta in Water at Environmental Levels EGROSS-PT-2018.
Target laboratories: Laboratories working in the field of measurement of gross alpha/beta particle activities in drinking water using an analytical technique for monitoring drinking water supplies for alpha/beta particle activities according to internationally agreed guidelines and limits.
Proficiency test material: The Proficiency Test will consist of 6 water spiked items (from 0.1 to 100 Bq/l). The items can be analysed using Liquid Scintillation / Gas Proportional Counting or using any other radiochemical procedure.

EGROSS-PT-2018 fees: The participation fees are £ (GBP) 700 plus VAT (if applicable) which includes samples, individual evaluation report, summary report, PT certificate and sample shipment within EU (additional fee will be charged for international shipment).
